Samsung Trender, also known as Samsung SPH-M380, is powered by a Li-Ion 1000 mAh standard battery (up to 5 hours talk time). It comes with a 56K colors 2.8 inches 240 x 320 pixels TFT resistive touchscreen display, 1.3 MP, 1280 x 1024 pixels built in camera and up to 32GB card slot available. This mobile device is not a GSM device but CDMA (CDMA 800 for 2G network and CDMA2000 1xEV-DO for 3G network).

Setting Up Samsung Trender (page 2 of the manual)
Remove the battery cover.
Place your fingernail in the opening and firmly “pop” the cover off the device.
While applying pressure, slide the cover towards the camera lens.
Install the battery.
Insert the battery into the opening on the back of the phone, making sure the connectors align. Gently press down to secure the battery.
Position the battery cover (5) and firmly slide it down until you hear a click.
Press ”GAMBAR ICON” turn the phone on.
Your phone will turn on, search for Sprint service, and then show the Unlock screen.
If your phone is not yet activated, or if it is locked, see “Activating Your Phone” on page 4 for more information.
Make your first call.
Press ”GAMBAR ICON” and touch ”GAMBAR ICON”. Use the onscreen dialpad to enter a phone number.
