Shifter on a slightly inclined surface of Mazda vehicles. Setup steps: 1. Unscrew stock SHIFT knob to rotate it counter clockwise. 2. open storage compartment in the center console and remove the foam rubber mat in the bottom to get access to the 2 bolts. Use a 8 mm socket and ratchet with the remove 2 bolts. 3. lift the rear half of the console to begin removal. The rear part can be removed from the car and put in a safe place. 4. continue the deletion by highlighting in console with shift boot attached. The front part of the console can now be removed and put in a safe place. 5. Unscrew two 8 mm bolts at the front of the console with an 8 mm socket and ratchet or a Philips head screwdriver. 6. ……
