The Dodge Viper is a V10-powered sports car manufactured by the Dodge, and was first introduced in 1992. The 2009 Viper is a 2-door, 2-passenger sports car, or convertible sports car, available in two trims, the SRT-10 Convertible and the SRT-10 Coupe. Both trims are powered by a standard 8.4-liter, V10, 600-horsepower engine that produces 12-mpg in the city and 22-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard. 2009 Dodge Viper also features dual side exhaust, a limited slip differential, lightweight coil-over shock absorbers, anti-lock brakes with front and rear vented discs, “Z” rated performance tires on 18 inch front and 19 inch rear forged alloy wheels.
